Press Accreditation
PRESS ACCREDITATION PROCEDURE
1. Send your accreditation request to the press department by mail or
courier service by sending the supporting documents listed in the
section regarding your profession: Written Press, Television, Radio,
Press Photographer, Press Agency, Photo Agency, Audiovisual Press
Agency, Online Press.
No requests by email will be accepted.
The deadline to make a request for accreditation is February 28, 2010, and the requested professional documents must be sent to the office in charge by February 28, 2010. Beyond these dates we cannot guarantee that request will be processed.
Any accreditation requests received after February 28, 2010 will be subject to severe restrictions: they will only be delivered on an highly exceptional basis upon presentation of supporting professional documents, and will be billed administrative handling costs.

2. Once the official request has been accepted, the press department will send an email with the official accreditation and a code to pick up the Press Kit and Badge at the press offices of LVIFS.
SPECIAL CASES
* If you represent several media companies we invite you to provide information about each one of them and to clearly state which of them you wish to be accredited for, as the press department does not give out multiple accreditations.
Written press
Send all the supporting elements listed below by post to: Las Vegas International Film Summit™, press department.
An official letter, from the media you work for on official letterhead, signed by the chief editor or the executive who assigns the journalist or reporter to cover the Festival, with information concerning the circulation and the periodicity of the publication as well as what the publication intends to cover.
If your media wishes to send several journalists, please indicate their names and professional activity.
For photographers, please send all the supporting elements requested in the section regarding "Press Photographer"
Television
Please send all the supporting elements listed above plus a detailed description of the nature of the coverage you intend to dedicate to the Festival (name of the show or news cast, periodicity, time of broadcast, audience, number of repeats, live coverage.
Please also provide a brief description of your television company:
Include a DVD with 3 episodes or emissions of your show or news cast.
Warning: No audiovisual production companies will be accredited.
Radio
Please send all the supporting elements listed above, plus a brief description of your radio station:
Include a CD (MP3 files) with 3 transmissions of your show or news radio including commercials.
Press photographer
Please send all the supporting elements listed above plus a letter describing the importance of the media you represent:
Note: Given numerous requests, we remind you that the press photographer pass doesn’t allow any reserved spot on official events (red carpet, photo call…).
Warning: Given numerous requests, it is not possible to get press credential as a “free lance photographer”.
Press agency
An official letter, with the media company's letterhead, signed by the chief editor or the director who assigns you to cover the Festival.
Please provide details regarding the size of the agency you represent:

- A photocopy of your professional card
- A recent passport type color picture
