FEATURES COMPETITION
Only the films that meet the following criteria may be selected for the competition:
• Feature Films that have been produced during the twelve months preceding the event.
• Feature Films that have not been shown on the Internet
• Feature Films that have not been shown on the Internet
SHORT FILMS IN COMPETITION
• Short films that do not exceed 15 minutes in length, including credits
• Short Films that have not been shown on the Internet
YOUNG VISIONARIES AWARDS
• Short films that do not exceed 15 minutes in length, including credits
• Short Films that have not been shown on the Internet
• The film must be submitted by the school and not by the student individually.
GREEN AWARD
• Feature Documentaries that have been produced during the twelve months preceding the event.
• Feature Documentaries that have not been shown on the Internet
SUBMISSIONS
Film submissions for the Las Vegas International Film Summit™ 2010 will open on March 29, 2009 .

The films selected will be announced by late January 2010 and will be posted on our website.
The candidates will be notified prior to the official announcement.
* Note: The STUDENT FILMS must be submitted by the school and not by the student individually. The film will represent the school, however, the students involved in the project will be awarded with the Creative Flame®
Send your film once only and in one format only.
It is possible to present a working copy of the film. When filling out the entry form, state if it is the final version or a working version.
SUBTITLING
The Selection Committee will accept to screen a film:
•WITHOUT subtitles IF the original language is English.
•WITH English subtitles for all other original languages.
SHIPPING
• All materials must be sent by registered mail, directly to the Films Department at the Festival office (find address at the end of the entry form), with "For cultural use only" and "Without commercial value" marked on the envelope.
The cost of custom duties and taxes in the United States of America must be included in the transportation cost paid by the sender; if that is not the case the Las Vegas International Film Summit™ will refuse the package.
Application and screening fee must be paid online at the time of registration (using the form below).
Application and screening costs are borne by the producer or the sender.
MEANS OF PAYMENT
RETURN
No video cassettes and DVD's will be returned to the sender.
SELECTED FILMS
All selected films MUST PROVIDE A Hi-Def DIGITAL VERSION.
The LVIFS Film Department will give all the necessary information for the selected films in a timely matter.
